Christmas Inspiration for Every Decor Style!

This is it! My favorite time of the year is finally here. And what better way to celebrate it by counting down the days on my blog? I have decided to have my own little Blogmas here at Thrifty-Plus, putting out holiday related posts until Christmas! I am starting just a little bit late, but I’m excited to find reasons to write more.

DAY 13: Christmas Decor Ideas for Every Style!

For this post I was going to do my favorite Christmas Decor, but I honestly couldn’t choose a favorite style! Everything is so beautiful! So I decided why not do them all? In this post I will showcase my favorite Christmas set-ups for several decor styles, including some beautifully clever DIY’s that would even get the grinch himself in the holiday mood!

Glam

We are kicking off this post with my personal favorite at the moment: Glam Decor! For me glam decor consists of luxe textures and finishes, like faux furs, fuzzy garlands, and sequin throw pillows. We also can’t forget about the beautiful rose gold and copper ornaments! This definitely has a more distinct female vibe to it, and I love it!

This beautiful Christmas set-up from CurlsandCashmere is so dreamy! I think out of this list, this one is my personal favorite. I already have some faux fur elements and glittery pieces around my home, so this glam style would fit right in.

Farmhouse Rustic

The rustic style is cozy and unique. Rustic decor usually centers around a neutral, relaxing color palette with bursts of earthy tones for accent. There are tons of natural textures from plants and pinecones, and rich deep tones from wooden accent pieces.

These beautiful Rae Dunn inspired ornaments from Amber Simmons are perfect for a Farmhouse Rustic feel! I love how clean they look! I honestly thought these were for sale at first, I almost jumped when I realized there is a way to make them at home. This is on my to-do for next year’s Christmas. I picture these with all the names of my family and friends! I can’t wait to make these!

Traditional

The traditional style is the one we most often recognize! It’s filled with vibrant reds and greens, the trademark Christmas colors. In this style we see grand Christmas trees filled with lights, plaid accents, and cozy decor.

This bed set-up from lizmarieblog is absolutely beautiful! I love how cozy she’s made everything look, I feel sleepy just by looking at the bed. Mid-Century

Mid-Century style is unmistakable, with it’s bright colors and unique textures. We see simple but colorfully decorated trees and interiors. The mid-century modern style is definitely reminiscent of a different time.

Of all of these styles, I would say I shy away from mid-century, but there’s something about this tree from PrettyProvidence that just makes me stare. I could probably watch this tree all day! There’s something about the happy shades of pastels that if absolutely gorgeous to me.
